Request a Patent Search First

A patent search finds existing inventions which are similar to yours. This is important in 2 ways:

1: It does not make sense to waste time and money filing a patent application for an invention that may already exist. A patent search tells you how unique your invention is and the chances it could eventually get a full patent.

2: Even if your invention does not exist, we will find inventions that are similar. By seeing similar inventions, you can modify your invention around other people's inventions to make your invention more unique. This way you file in the most unique version of your invention and increase your chances of eventual full patent success.

The patent search is an additional fee of $295. After the search report is completed, you can modify your invention before filing the patent application. Or, you can choose to cancel the patent application altogether and be charged only for the patent search.
